On September 20, 2001, President Bush addressed the nation, stating that “enemies of freedom committed an act of war against our country.” Indeed, they did.  But did Congress, as is its constitutional imperative, declare war on those who declared war on us?  No, it did not.  And we’ve had trouble with this war on Islamic jihadists ever since.

How goes the “war on terror”? One would think that the absence of a successful dramatic terrorist operation against Westerners since the London bombings in July 2005 would be heartening. But an atmosphere of gloom predominates. A recent much-publicized Foreign Policy magazine poll of 108 American specialists, myself included, found merely 6% who agreed that “The United States is winning the war on terror.” A whopping 84% disagreed.

Six years after 9/11, we have not had another attack. But it’s not for lack of trying: While Democrats insist the war on terror is a Bush administration gimmick, every few months the FBI rolls up another terrorist plot. Since 9/11, the FBI and CIA have nabbed more than 5,000 terrorists worldwide.

A miserable failure. That is the al-Qaeda senior leadership (AQSL) internal assessment of the effectiveness of bin Laden’s recent message “to the American people.” That much is clear. And what the world may be seeing is the end of Adam Ghadan’s days of advising al Qaeda’s leadership on American domestic politics and the manipulability of the American psyche.

A strategic breakthrough occurred, I believe, in summer 2007 in the Fourth World War declared on the West by the Islamic radicals of al Qaeda and kindred organizations. Not everybody seems fully to have appreciated the significance of this, or indeed even to have noticed it.

The Islamic Republic of Iran has been waging war against America in Iraq from the very first days of U.S. military operations against Saddam Hussein. And yet, until just recently, no one in the U.S. government has been willing to acknowledge this openly.

Demercrat Progressive pansy wimps have demonstrated that they just plain afraid to fight Americas enemies.

To listen to most of our foreign-policy commentators, the biggest problem facing America today, six years after 9/11, is the fact that many Muslims are mad at us.

This Labor Day weekend, the Civil Rights Division of the Department of Justice will be paying the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) to have a booth at its 44th Annual Convention.

Harlingen, Texas, September 1, 2007: It is fast approaching one year since Abu Dawood, an al Qaeda commander in Afghanistan announced preparations were complete for the American Hiroshima, a major attack on this country.  He also urged Muslims living in the United States to leave without further warning.  His announcement included a statement that the al Qaeda operatives who will launch the attack are awaiting final orders.  They remain in place throughout the country. Many are masquerading as Christians and have adopted Christian names.

JERUSALEM - Hamas and members of the so-called military wing of Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ Fatah organization took responsibility for an attack against the Israeli army yesterday, stating a recently formed new terror group will be used to conduct joint operations against the Jewish state.

As Democrats prepare their refutations of the yet to be presented General Petraeus report on Iraq, Iran’s President Ahmadinejad is already planning his takeover of that country.  In the past, Ahmadinejad has encouraged the American people to place Democrat politicians in power.  Tragically, for the 2006 midterm elections, Ahmadinejad’s strategy appears to have worked and he is, again, counting on US Democrat leaders to pull the United States out of Iraq - in opposition to all recent reports from both Democrats and Republicans that the surge is working.  This will allow him to seize the country.  If the Democrat leadership is successful in pushing its continued and planned retreat-in-the-face-of-victory pullout from Iraq, Ahmadinejad is prepared and has already announced that he will help his US pals.  He will fill the “power vacuum.”

Which proves more worthless? The “War on Terror” for the past five years or the “War on Drugs” for the past 35 years?

Non-Muslims occasionally raise the idea of banning the Koran, Islam, and Muslims. Examples this month include calls by a political leader in the Netherlands, Geert Wilders, to ban the Koran - which he compares to Hitler’s Mein Kampf - and two Australian politicians, Pauline Hanson and Paul Green, demanding a moratorium on Muslim immigration.

Since the opening of the Guantanamo Bay terrorist detainee facility in 2002, the Bush Administration has been under constant pressure to close the facility down. The existence of this facility is looked upon as an embarrassment to “freedom,” “liberty” and western ethics by its detractors and has served as a focal point of the anti-war movement the world over. Those against the facility maintain that it does more harm than good in our efforts against Islamofascist terror – if, that is, they even believe there is a problem with such terrorism in the first place. In any case, they want the thing closed down, the prisoners therein either remanded to civil authorities or released, and “civilized” people to denounce the entire concept.
