As conservatives and the Republican Party, the party most able to bring back the misplaced spirit of this country, fight to find both their bearings and their grit, they are also faced with the not so wanted task of culling out those that will inevitably hurt the movement. The sometimes bandied about notion that movements should take all comers to expand their ranks is fool hearty, at best, and probably the most often whispered advice from the enemy, at worst. For liberals and the Democrat Party, which have toiled over the last few decades to become one and the same, the painful truth is that America is a center-right nation. That’s right, conservatives have the actual physical numbers to win elections, pass meaningful laws, set their agenda, and even course correct the dire straits this country finds itself in today. So, if today’s liberal cannot numerically defeat mainstream America at the polls, who can? The painful truth is that the biggest culprit, the most accurate monkey wrench thrower attributing to conservative political defeats, has been, and will always be, the missteps of conservatives themselves as they attempt to retrieve what is rightfully theirs: victory.

The November 3rd elections were a turning point, swiftly reached. 

Our nation is coming apart at the seams, and Barack Obama is proving to be absolutely inept, or worse, at dealing with the situation. Instead of honestly assessing things and advancing solutions conceived in the best interests of the American people, he presses mindlessly forward with his ultra-liberal agenda, ignoring or deriding those who make any effort to forestall his destruction of the great institutions of this country. In league with him are the leading players of the Congress, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D.-NV) and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-CA), both of whom have exhibited a vile degree of contempt for real America, and both of whom are pivotal figures in next year’s elections.

It’s okay to admit it: you thought you were voting for a more benevolent and wiser version of Tiger Woods when all you got was a smoother version of Chicago-style, brass knuckle politics.  It isn’t so much that you voted for the wrong guy; you were lied to by the media.

After the Bill Clinton scandal years, the George W. Bush frat house years filled with excessive federal spending and wars based on lies, and now a clearly in-over-his-head Barack Obama and his Let’s Spend Everything We Have Now - including our money and his political capital - program, the American political world needs an adult voice, an experienced and wise hand at the rudder who knows what to do and how to do it and, most importantly, what not to do.

Sir you have “changed” the USA from a country of “hope” and prosperity into a pending “Banana Republic”.

Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely."… Lord Acton - What will it take to convince Americans that the people we place in office ought to be of high moral character?  I no longer think it is even possible. I no longer think Americans even care… as evidenced by the results of the presidential election, and numerous congressional elections, and even state and local elections around the country just last year.

Lots of people are wondering, even with 2012 years away, will the Republican Party learn its lesson?  In 2008 the vast moderate (read liberal) conspiracy within the Republican Party got their preferred candidate in one Senator John McCain and he was soundly trounced because when push came to shove both he and his opponent, and now President, Senator Barack Obama, had no real answers for dealing with the tough fiscal and constitutional issues facing this nation.  Outside the War on Terror, the fineries may have differed but both of these big government supporting men were close enough to being the same that in the end McCain simply could not beat the novelty of electing the first black president.

Those of us who are self-appointed advocates—who expend our efforts trying to persuade a few more people to our political point of view—must sit back in slack-jawed wonder when the great American public makes one of its great roars, as we all have been hearing in town hall meetings across the country.

It’s hard to know why President Obama said what he said at Tuesday’s health-care town hall in New Hampshire. He actually stated: “If you think about it, UPS and FedEx are doing just fine. It’s the Post Office that’s always having problems.”

The power of the ballot box has not diminished - The government is not my shepherd, and I shall not surrender my liberties.

USN Capt. Michael Scott ("Spike") Speicher K.I.A. 1/17/90: Welcome Home Sailor - Much to the disdain of elitist snobs all across the political spectrum, including some faux conservatives over at Fox News, the persistent, nagging questions over Barack Obama’s citizenship status, legitimacy and eligibility for office continue to mount. Apparently, respect for our Constitution is entirely too much to ask of some, Bill O’Reilly. Rather than address the questions directly, Obama’s costly efforts to bury the controversy or intimidate and ostracize those asking them into silence, are proof enough for thousands of people that he is indeed hiding something.

Tonight O’Reilly again stated that the question of whether Obama is an American citizen qualified to be President is old news and long ago proved by FNC to be a fact.

Proving once again how desperately he needs a teleprompter to avoid inserting his size 12 oxfords into his mouth, Barack Obama couldn’t resist commenting on what should have remained a local issue, and, in so doing, proved himself every bit as arrogant as the overpaid, tenured twit he was defending. I refer, of course, to the case of the president’s good friend, elitist Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr., who turned a routine police call to his home into an ugly racial incident. This was followed by a totally inappropriate comment from the President of the United States when he told the press that the police had “acted stupidly.”

Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 - In his great old hymn, Will L. Thompson tells us that “There’s a great day coming – by and by.” Thompson’s great day, of course, is judgment day, “When the saints and the sinners shall be parted right and left.”
