This came in my email.. - A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a compass, a slide-rule and a calculator.. At a morning press conference, the Attorney General said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-Gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction.

Since liberals place a premium on tolerance, the loving and charitable thing to do is help them develop it.  Note here that, unbeknownst to many, tolerance involves enduring something considered to be a negative.  We don’t tolerate a fine meal or a nice car, for instance; we relish such things.  But we might have to tolerate bad weather, a cold or Nancy Pelosi.  Now, since liberals actually perceive a great many positive things to be negative, placing them in situations wherein they may cultivate tolerance is not difficult.

Sometimes I could believe I was living in the Matrix.  Only, I can’t imagine sentient programs creating a world as irrational as ours.

Facing despair, too many Americans have grown cynical of the quagmire of partisan politics inside the Beltway. With the endless arguments over illegal immigration, prison capacity, stem cell research, abortion, healthcare, unemployment, public education, and much more, surly every conscientious American yearns for solutions. To this point, our quibbling politicians continue to let us down, as they scurry shamelessly to serve their egocentric agendas versus honoring their oaths to serve the average American like you and me.

This little piece appeared in my email box this morning, I thought some might like a little laugh to start their day.

Well, I suppose the Great Global Warming Debate is over. That august scientific body known as the United States Supreme Court has ruled that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. That settles it, right? The SCOTUS is after all the final arbiter of all human affairs.

The morning was grey and foggy and patches of crystal-like frost covered the dead grass. In a small clearing surrounded by pecan trees a monumental event was about to take place.
