The Muslim activist organization CAIR was attempting to plant Muslim interns in the offices of congressmen who are on committees affecting US national security, a CAIR memo dated 13 January 2007 reveals.

Four House Republicans are accusing a Muslim advocacy group of trying to plant spies.

Almost everyone recognizes the alacrity with which President Barack H. Obama makes decisions.  Many of us question the wisdom of numerous such decisions, undoubtedly bright though the President is, believing any important decision should be reached at the latest non-prejudicial time to allow the maximum reasonable assimilation of facts and evaluation of evidence and options.

Much has been in the news recently about La Raza, what a military intelligence acquaintance recently dubbed “a mestizo terrorist organization.” Republican congressman Charlie Norwood of Georgia’s ninth district has called La Raza a “radical...pro-illegal immigration lobbying organization that supports racist groups.”

Let’s try a thought experiment. When I say “victory,” what do you think of? Do you think of winning the World Series? Do you picture that famous photo of the U.S. Sailor kissing the pretty girl in Time Square as WWII ended? Do you just imagine “winning” at whatever contest is at hand? 

This past Sunday a Hilton hotel right outside of Chicago hosted a conference for Hizbut-Tahrir, an Islamic extremist group connected to terrorist groups, including Al Qaeda.  The seminar was entitled, “The Fall of Capitalism and the Rise of Islam” and was attended by approximately 500 Hizbut-Tahrir members.  As the title of their gathering suggests, the speakers condemned capitalist systems while encouraging a growth of global Islamic influence. 

While President Obama and the Democrat-run US Congress spend trillions of dollars, Secretary Robert Gates and Obama’s Administration have requested a drawdown of 32 percent in the 2010 fiscal year budget for the long-range ballistic missile defense system—a specific reduction from 44 ground based interceptors to 30 ground based interceptors—to protect the United States of America from long range ballistic missiles, according to Riki Ellison, the Chairman and Founder of Missile Defense Advocacy Alliance, a non-profit national security think tank.

Time to get the e-mail humming to your Senators again. Phone calls work well, too. Faxes are also important. Even a telegram to your senator’s office would be helpful.

In an obvious effort to protect the Speaker of the House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi—whom many believe has been deceptive in her statements regarding the Central Intelligence Agency—House Democrats, with the help of the Director of Central Intelligence Leon Panetta went on the attack over the weekend.

It worries me that our liberal friends seem, somehow, to think that showing one’s fangs to an enemy is distasteful but cannot grasp how rolling over onto one’s back and presenting one’s soft underbelly can be construed as a definite show of weakness and servility.  What Obama was doing in the Middle East recently was, in the eyes of the Middle Easterner, a definite sign of weakness and an open invitation to Muslim disdain and disgust.  They will smile, take his hand in a demonstration of friendship, slip the political knife into his back, and wait for the moment of optimum opportunity to strike the Great Satan in his own home, wreaking murder and mayhem amongst a people so brilliantly stupid as to choose a leader so naive, so narcissistic, and so committed to punishing America for it’s excellence.

Indications are that the “Obama FBI” may be backing off investigating homegrown IslamoFascist suspects.

As the number of Americans who remember the horror of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington almost eight years ago dwindles, the US borders are practically as porous as ever—and the terrorists know it.  Even while President Barack Obama is in the Middle East wooing Islamic nations, Islamofascism is taking hold in Central and South America.

On every Memorial Day, the flag over this veteran’s porch flies smartly in remembrance of those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in defense of this nation. Having nearly done so myself, today holds special significance. And on this day, while I join the the nation as it remembers those who have given their lives for our country, I simmer with anger at a Democrat Party that is putting politics above national security, thereby putting our country in grave danger.

Harlingen, Texas, May 22, 2009:  Following his oath of office, President Barack Obama flew into a whirlwind of executive actions and proposed legislation.  Unfortunately, none of this activity was directed toward one of his primary presidential obligations...the security of the United States of America.

As Americans honor their fallen heroes who fought and died for freedom and liberty here and abroad, Obama tries to recover from the strongest rebuke to date. Even hardened leftist Democrats who label American soldiers “terrorists” and US war prisons “gulags,” now oppose Obama’s blind political maneuver to close Club Gitmo.
