A persistent meme in political discourse has been the advent of a new world war. As global terrorism and the threat of rogue states has supplanted war between superpowerful nations as the face of contemporary armed conflict, “World War III” is increasingly portrayed as some manner of world-sweeping difficulty that is anything but nations aligned against each other to engage in conventional warfare. Albert Einstein, presaging nuclear annihilation, once said that World War IV would be fought with sticks and stones. What even Einstein could not predict, however, is that the next “world war,” already upon us, is a war for the mind. It is a fight for your opinions, and thus for your soul, and its battleground is the network of networks we call the Internet.

Excited media and political pundits are chomping at the bit to discuss the merits or the failures of President Obama’s worldwide romp through Europe and Muslim countries. Here is one view.

Although this is what has come to be expected from the anti-first amendment Left, on 7 April Fox News’ Neil Cavuto reported that Barack Obama’s group ACORN, members and readers of the far Left blog “Huffington Post” and other left-wing groups plan to infiltrate and cause chaos at scheduled tax day citizen tea parties.  The tea parties - based upon the original Boston Tea Party’s taxation without representation - have barely been mentioned by the apparent Obama Administration-controlled leftist press.

WASHINGTON - (AP) - Defense Secretary Robert Gates on Monday recommended halting production of the F-22 fighter jet and scrapping a new helicopter for the president as he outlined deep cuts to many of the military’s biggest weapons programs.

Mirroring President Bill Clinton’s reduction in defense spending that some critics claim led to the terrorist attacks against the US and its interests, President Barack Obama is planning his own set of defense cuts with the blessings of his Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Rush Limbaugh and Bill O’Reilly have a lot of good things to say but in the political climate of the day we may want to take heed to Forrest Gump’s Mom. Let’s see! 

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann says she fears the Obama administration will create “re-education camps for young people, where young people have to go and get trained in a philosophy that the government puts forward and then they have to go to work in some of these politically correct forums.” Audio after the jump.

I must be naive. I really thought the administration would welcome the return of bank bailout money. Some $340 million in TARP cash flowed back this week from four small banks in Louisiana, New York, Indiana and California. This isn’t much when we routinely talk in trillions, but clearly that money has not been wasted or otherwise sunk down Wall Street’s black hole. So why no cheering as the cash comes back?

Moving as quickly as he can to gut the USA and then divide its body parts amongst like-minded globalists, the USA’s Supreme Leader Barack Hussein Obama used the G-20 conference to begin his turnover of USA sovereignty to said internationalists and start the move toward a one-world government.  Obama has signed off on international legislation - the Financial Stability Board - that would regulate ALL firms, including those within the USA and places them under the responsibility of an international governmental agency.

H.R. 1388, “Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education Act” (GIVE), was approved by the House, and is on the fast track to the Senate and President Obama. 

As each day of the new administration passes, the American taxpayer is driven deeper in debt, American savings, investment and retirement accounts lose more value, Washington DC leftists seize more control over private industries and private assets, and today, the Obama administration is directly engaged in the day to day management of multiple private corporations and industries. Still, the average American has allowed a false sense of hope to trump simple common sense, which is clearly no longer common in America.

Obama and his illiterate elitist minions have now taken full control of GM and Chrysler.  The Federal Government has hampered and hindered the US Auto makers for years, this is just the first time they actually grabbed control of 2 of the 3.
