Como, Italy...Boatloads of illegal immigrants from sub-Saharan Africa and Arab North Africa land in Italy’s southern provinces, and then proceed northwards to the wealthier regions Lazio (Rome), Tuscany (Florence), Veneto (Venice), Piedmont (Turin) and Lombardy (Milan and Como).

Over a year ago, Peter Brimelow, author of “Alien Nation” as well as director of Vdare, addressed the Philadelphia Society. Brimelow addressed immigration and its ongoing ramifications for the United States of America.

Over the last month there has been a donnybrook of sorts in the pages of the Wall Street Journal between Richard Nadler, the president of America’s Majority Foundation, and former Congressman J.D. Hayworth of Arizona. At issue is exactly why Mr. Hayworth lost his last bid for reelection to the House of Representatives in 2006. Nadler claims it was J.D.’s overzealous illegal immigration policy suggestions that culminated in a “deportationist policy” revealing an antipathy toward Hispanics that caused Hispanic and white voters to consider Hayworth an extremist on the issue making them shy away from pulling the lever for him in the voting booth. Hayworth, for his part, lays the blame for his loss on the perennial need of voters to occasionally vote an incumbent out of office - a “six-year itch” as he calls it. Hayworth also says that president Bush’s failures to control the border caused the voters to react in frustration at him simply because he is a member of the president’s party.

Alabama health officials have identified 212 workers who have tested positive for tuberculosis at a single poultry plant owned by one of the largest processors in the U.S. 

Both Democratic and Republican presidential candidates are unable to come to a consensus on the growing problem of illegal immigration.  All Democrats are in favor of legislation leading to amnesty and citizenship, while many Republicans are opposed to this approach or have varying records on this important issue.

After a trial lasting about two weeks, a jury in federal district court returned guilty verdicts against Freddie Sandoval, 23, of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Angel Mazariegos, 24, of Doraville, Georgia, and Luis Nandy, 27, of Atlanta, Georgia, on federal charges relating to their violent criminal activity as members of a street gang known as “Surenos-13,” or “SUR-13.”

Last Friday, Ann Curry, on NBC Nightly News, reported that drought-stricken Georgia’s Lake Lanier, that provides water for five million people, will not last more than 79 more days at current water consumption. “What does Lake Lanier need?” she asked the reporter standing by the lake. “Lots of rain…about four months of rain,” the reporter said.

On Monday’s Good Morning America, co-host Diane Sawyer reported live from Mexico and repeatedly blamed U.S. rage for much of the controversy over illegal immigration. 

Do you remember Americana? Do you remember Norman Rockwell on Saturday Evening Post or Ben Franklin five and dime stores? How about Rexall Drugs? Who ran them? Good old Americans, that’s who! Nice to know your vendors because they’re citizens like you!

It would appear that some people in Senate believe that Americans are asleep again and that they can now bring up the dream act and we will just roll over and hit the snooze button. My snooze button is broken and so is their logic. To fully understand what is going on here you must do a little research and our senate was hoping that no one would take time out of their busy schedule to do that, they were wrong. What the dream act is, is exactly what it is called it is the illegal immigrants dream, not just because it will allow their children taxpayer subsidized education when most American’s are forced to take out second mortgages to pay for their children to go to college. No this is about something more, this is about amnesty all over again.

Rep. Tom Tancredo, R-Colo., is asking the U.S. Office of Detention and Removal Operations to explain why it’s OK for jailers to use Tasers to control inmates who are U.S. citizens but not those who are in the country illegally. 

Picture this: A dramatic rise in attacks on minorities by white supremacist skinhead and similar groups occurs. Members of the White Aryan Resistance, the Aryan Brethren Church and others come out of the woodwork and begin to appear on television news venues, articulate and very dapper as they play the role of apologists for the former, but always with a hint of validation and justification as they disavow the escalating violence. For some unfathomable reason, they are softballed by the media, legitimizing them further with each passing day.

Elvira Arellano says that “comprehensive immigration reform” is needed to prevent the breakup of families like her own. Arellano is an “immigration rights activist,” which is what the media call an illegal alien who had been arrested for using a fraudulent Social Security number. When she was deported, she opted to leave her 8 year-old American-born son, Saul, behind in the states, although she could just as easily have taken him with her back to Mexico. As scripted, her fellow activists are now demanding that she be allowed to return, supposedly for the sake of reuniting with her child.

Though the Senate was recently forced to abandon their destructive plans to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, our criminal federal officials still refuse to protect our border and in many cases actually encourage Latin American thugs to invade this country. Try as we might, we cannot convince those determined to destroy this nation to protect it. So what do we do?...Sue the traitors!
