Congress Selects Back Door Program for Illegals
Immigration
Sher Zieve
Did the outcry from We-the-People, with regards to the proposed amnesty for illegal immigrants, have any lasting effect on Congress? Well, according to Congressional Democrats - apparently not. And they have found and selected new back-door ways to push their illegal legislations through - again bypassing the American people. Last Thursday, a House of Representatives’ healthcare bill - SCHIP - that includes illegal immigrants’ children ("children" who are inanely defined by Congressional Reps as up to 25 years of age!) was defeated 215-213. A narrow margin but, nonetheless, a defeat of yet another attempted pro-illegals bill. But - congressional Democrats didn’t like this vote. So, instead of accepting this decision, Democrat Congressional leaders kept the vote improperly in play until they had arm-twisted and coerced enough of their colleagues to secure the vote they wanted. And secure it they did. Unethical and unconscionable? You bet. Unexpected? Not from this Congress; a Congress that now sports only a 3% approval rating from the public.

Balkanization of America Accelerating
Immigration

A hundred years ago, President Teddy Roosevelt said, “The one absolutely certain way of bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of its continuing as a nation at all, would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities.”

Europe’s ‘Immigrant Problems’ Close to Boiling Point
Immigration
Warner Todd Huston
Islamofascism is fast over taking the immigrant communities of old Europe. Now, by “immigrant community” Europeans mean Muslim immigrants, of course. Whether they be Moroccans, or Africans or what have you, large segments of Europe’s immigrants are from Muslim countries and these insular communities are long past the point of being merely troublesome already having become an outright danger. It has been a long time coming, but some Europeans are finally getting to the point of having had enough. More and more are finally beginning to speak out. But Europe’s empty PC attitudes and platitudes are hard in dying.
France or America - Love it or Leave it

Pro-American and devoutly religious Nicholas Sarkozy, who I predicted in October 2004 would be the next President of France, is holding up very well in public opinion polls in France, as is his Prime Minister Francois Fillon. Sarkozy has already moved with great energy toward several policy goals, like not taxing Frenchmen for the wages they earn by working overtime. Sarkozy is a high-energy, move quickly, accomplish reforms type of leader.

Democrats and Republicans: Joined Together to Stop Amnesty for Illegals
Immigration
Sher Zieve
The first extraordinary event surrounding the sound demise of the Senate’s Illegal Immigrant Amnesty Bill is the participation of We-the-People in its defeat. The second is that this participation included the majority-on-the-same-side of both Democrats and Republicans. The most recent Rasmussen poll showed that only 22% of the American voting public - a poll that showed almost identical results for both Republican and Democrat voters - approved of the Amnesty Bill. Commenting on the Senate Bill, Rasmussen commented: “It is opposed by 52% of Republicans, 50% of Democrats, and 48% of unaffiliateds.” Due to so many calls to our senators, referencing disapproval of this anti-citizen Senate bill, the Capitol switchboard was overloaded and suffered a meltdown. For hours prior to the Senate vote, it was reported that no calls were able to get in or out. When a legislation is pending that has all of the inherent elements to dissolve the country, the American people - regardless of political partisanship - respond in favor of their country’s survival. We-the-People came together against the globalist open-borders Congressional elites.

As Amnesty Bills Fails, MSM Gives us Tales of ‘Immigrant Worker’ Woes
Immigration
Warner Todd Huston
Right on cue, as the illegal immigrant amnesty bill failed to get the required
support for passage in the Senate, the MSM is here to tell us mean spirited
LEGAL Americans how “hard” it is on all those poor, innocent ILLEGAL migrants
who break the law to come here by the millions. Yes, folks, women and children
hardest hit, as the old saw goes. Of course, it is nearly ignored by the MSM
that these people are not just “innocents” but are here knowingly breaking
our laws and then blaming us when they find life a bit uncomfortable—and
a bit uncomfortable is all they are facing it should be remembered.

Putting a Glacier on the Melting Pot
Immigration
James Atticus Bowden
If you put a pot, even a big one, under a glacier and built a fire to melt the glacier - what happens? The pot gets crushed. It may take time, but a couple thousand feet of ice crushes any pot. Puts out any flame. Destroys anything in its path and carve out a new place. The illegal alien invasion of the United States is so huge it’s like a glacier to our idea of a melting pot. This glacier will demolish our melting pot and snuff our flame of liberty and opportunity.

Things you need to know right now
Immigration
Carolyn Hileman
In 1996 Osama Bin Laden declared war on the United States of America, in 1999, Americans watched with little interest as an ABC reporter had an interview with this same man and again he declared war on the United States, we ignored his declaration and within a few years he carried out his threats. We were told then that there were sleeper cells through out the United States and that all they were doing was biding their time until they received their instructions and they would strike at us once again. Now we have a group called ATZLAN, who has sworn solidarity with Palestine, in their struggle with Israel, who on their website(1) have made it very clear that the immigrant movement has nothing to do with amnesty but it has everything to do with getting back what they call their land.
Immigration: Enforcement first THEN reform
Immigration
Doug Hagin
This whole immigration bill debate has been a true beating hasn’t it. Having Republicans like columnist Linda Chavez, Homeland Security chief Michael Chertoff, Senators Trent Lott and Lindsey Graham, and even President Bush bash Conservatives who opposed the bill was a blast. These folks characterized us as people who either “did not like Mexicans”, or “thought that anything short of the death penalty is amnesty”, or were just out of touch with reality. Senator Lott even opined that it was the fault of talk radio, which he seems to believe, is running America. It is not very nice to be on the receiving end of cheap shots by your supposed ideological allies is it?

Illegal Alien Thugs Set Fires Along Mexican Border
Immigration
Dave Gibson
Mexican thugs and drug smugglers intent on crossing the U.S. border illegally, have now begun to set fire to forests and fields along the border to distract U.S. Border Patrol Agents to make their crossing easier. These criminal invaders are also throwing Molotov cocktails at agents’ vehicles as well as even setting fire to their observation posts. It is only a matter of time before these terrorist attacks result in the deaths of Border Patrol Agents and American civilians alike.
We Should be More ‘British’ Says Tory Cameron - So Should Americans!
Immigration
Warner Todd Huston
Several years ago, I wrote an article in which I urged our school systems to teach Americanism so that we could reestablish our American culture. I remember several letters scolding me for this notion, but I got far more agreeing with my main point; without our shared American culture we cannot stand as a nation.
