In just one year, the largest tax hikes in the history of America will take effect. They will hit families and small businesses in three great waves on Jan. 1, 2013.

At present, the amount of the annual Gross Domestic Product, $14 trillion - the value of all the goods and services that generate income - is exceeded by the nation’s debts.

Barack Obama has clearly earned his day of reckoning with the American people. That should happen at the polls on Election Day 2012. Yet one important question appears, will the American people actually show up to send this President packing? The growing dissent over the President’s initiatives and programs are now reflected in most American opinion polls. For example, the September 2011 CBS/New York opinion poll showed Obama’s public approval rating at 43%, the lowest of his Presidency. However, opinion poll percentages by themselves won’t fill voting booths nationwide, so the fundamental question remains. Has such unpopular disapproval of Obama’s grand sweeping vision of America’s future created the voting numbers needed for his removal?

But the latest flap over some warmed over charges of “sexual harassment” against Herman Cain is a sterling example. Outrageous though this synthetic controversy may be, it hardly comes as a surprise. Conservatives have been warning for weeks that the left would most certainly engage in just such behavior once Cain’s star began to rise. Yet it is always amazing how shamelessly liberals can ignore the mountains of evidence proving their insincerity while they lecture the nation with almost comical passion.

In recent days there have been a number of groups popping up across the nation going by the moniker “Occupy.” Whether it is Occupy Wall Street or Occupy Kansas City in Kansas, these protest groups claim that they represent the majority of U.S. citizens. They are worthy of examination and analysis for their motives. 

During a recent campaign appearance disguised as a presidential press conference, President Obama uttered one straight out lie that stands out above the rest of them. To help sell his “jobs bill,” Obama claimed to have met a Boston-based teacher named Robert Baroz and intimated that Baroz had no job despite his excellent teaching credentials. The problem is, neither claim is true. Obama simply lied. So, where is the national Old Media to pin Obama to the wall over this out right lie?

(CNSNews) - The Census Bureau admitted Tuesday that it had “artificially inflated the number of same-sex couples” in the United States, initially reporting a number that was about 40 percent higher than what it now believes is accurate.

Must be nice to be a member of the “in” crowd, the crowd of crony capitalists to whom President Obama has given so much of the taxpayer’s money. And not just money but positions of power in the government.

A leftist caller into a morning talk-show that is part of my daily drive was spouting the “no skin off their back” class envy line about the “Buffett Rule” and soaking the rich.  Aside from simply annoying me with his ignorance, I found myself realizing that these people who buy into the Class Envy story line will not be swayed by any of the arguments of the unfairness of the excessive tax burden borne by the top income earners.  They pull out their “world’s smallest violin” and play “Cry Me a River”.  Their attitude is, “They can afford it.” Or, ‘They’ve still got plenty, AFTER taxes.’

We have all heard about the sex gap in voting patterns.  This is the phenomenon whereby, in every election, women are far more likely to support liberal candidates than men are.  For instance, in 1996, Bill Clinton captured 54 percent of the women’s vote but only 43 percent of the men’s.  And in subsequent elections, the male-female gap has been as follows: in 2000, Al Gore, 42-54; in 2004, John Kerry, 41-51; and in 2008, Barack Obama, 49-56.  In fact, even in the watershed election of 2010, during which we heard about the rise of the conservative woman, the fairer sex favored Democrats by 1 point, 49 to 48.  The Republican victories were attributable to a sex gap(1) (I don’t use the word “gender"(2)) that was ‘as wide as ever’, ranging from 4 to 19 points.

It is impossible to properly understand President Obama and what animates his treasonous policies unless one properly understands those who taught him, inspired him and the tactics he has adopted to contemporary Democratic Party politics with singular efficiency and fanaticism, including: Sun Tzu, Machiavelli, Darwin, Marx, Nietzsche, Lenin, Al Capone, Alinsky and Castro, among many other villains of history.
