Bush Exonerated, But Too Late
General Kevin Roeten

The above headline is something you will likely see in the future. Despite almost unprecedented low approval ratings in early 2007, it is inevitable that Bush will push through the barrier of positve approval ratings. It’s unfortunate that the change will likely come after he leaves office.

Ignoring the Invasion

GOP candidates and debate moderators look the other way - Perhaps it was because of the format, perhaps it was due to the number of candidates, but this past Thursday’s Republican “debate” wasn’t so much a debate as it was a sound bite circus.

Chris Matthews Destroys Rudy Giuliani
Elections Cliff Kincaid

Our campaign to force Fox News and the South Carolina Republican Party to open up their May 15 presidential debate to all 10 official and declared candidates was vindicated by what happened at the May 3 debate broadcast by MSNBC. Republicans got a chance to see a real exchange of views. Candidates like Duncan Hunter, Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo, who might have been excluded from the May 15 Fox News debate under the channel’s original criteria, talked about issues most of the other candidates would prefer to ignore. And despite the sometimes overbearing presence of liberal moderator Chris Matthews, several questions asked by Matthews and John Harris of Politico.com delineated real differences among the candidates.

Duke Rape Case: The Feminist Klan Exposed
Femi-Nazis David R. Usher

The deafening silence from Duke University in its failure to apologize to the Duke Lacrosse players, and its failure to change campus policy with respect to feminist harassment of men, has not gone unchallenged.  The watershed event at Duke has ignited long-overdue scrutiny of cultish women’s studies programs that have impressed hatred and sexism towards men at our Universities.

Feeding the Mouth That Bites You
Republicrats Doug Patton

The Republican Party never learns. Time and again, apparently on the theory that real conservatives just can’t win against liberal Democrats, party bosses seem compelled to support wishy-washy, moderate-to-liberal Republicans over solid conservatives in primary elections across the country.

Lowe’s Goes Bi-Lingual - Lowe’s Habla Espanol
Immigration Doug Edelman

I recently visited my local Lowe’s Home Improvement Store to pick up some lawn and garden supplies.  It should have been a routine errand to a familiar place.  I certainly didn’t expect this trip to be something to write home about (or write a column about).  But it was.

12 Important U.S. Laws Every Blogger Needs to Know
Off Site Editor

While the Internet still retains some of the “wild wild west” feel, increasingly Internet activity, and particular blogging, is being shaped and governed by state and federal laws. For US bloggers in particular, blogging has become a veritable land mine of potential legal issues, and the situation isn’t helped by the fact that the law in this area is constantly in flux.

Republicrat ‘debate’ No. 1

Unlike some other people, I was not much impressed with the first round.

Presidential debates: Entertainment or information?

With the first debate of the Republican presidential candidates, the second debate of the primary season, now behind us, there’s one clear loser. That’s the American people.

Verizon ends tie with ‘rape rapper’

Amid growing outrage, Verizon Wireless has cut off its support of hip-hop superstar Akon, who is under investigation for a simulated rape of a 14-year-old preacher’s daughter caught on video last month at a concert in Trinidad.

Washington Post Column Reveals Anti-Christian Animus
Progressivism Pastor Michael Hall

WASHINGTON, May 6 /Christian Newswire/—One of the most influential newspapers in America published a column Friday about the National Day of Prayer observance that was an egregious attack on Christianity and an insult to Bible believers across the United States. Dana Milbank, a former White House correspondent for the Washington Post dishonestly distorted quotes and disregarded facts in order to denigrate events that celebrated free speech, religious liberty and the sacred beliefs of 240 million Americans.

His writings revealed a severely troubled young man. “My nostrils dilate while savoring the acrid odor of gunpowder and blood. Crazy with fury I will stain my rifle red while slaughtering any enemy that falls in my hands! With the deaths of my enemies I prepare my being for the sacred fight and join the triumphant proletariat with a bestial howl!”
