Just for grins, Lettuce briefly discuss gun control.

Contrary to Progressive propaganda, when the populace has properly trained and screened folks that have a gun for their protection, crime rates go down.

The basic problem is that criminals who have been given notice by the government that the honest population is not allowed to have guns know they they can do most anything they want.

Why somebody in the balcony asks? 

Because police are reactive not proactive, they generally cannot protect anybody from anything and don’t try.

If the criminals (armed or not armed) can’t be sure their next victim won’t pull a gun and blow them away, many will move to a new safer venue or just forget about their project.

The criminals that ignore the fact that locals have a right to own a gun and/or concealed carry often get themselves into deep sh*t.

Progressives love to take an example of 1 or 2 persons out of 300,000,000 using a gun for bad reasons and declaring that no honest citizen should be allowed to have a gun.

There are 2 reasons behind the mentality: 1) Progressives want the general populace disarmed so it will be powerless to resist a totalitarian government. 2) They suffer from bird-brain flu and cannot believe anyone couldn’t believe their BS cr*p that big brother can protect them from everything.

Back to Lettuce, the Illegal Squatters that Progressives so much love to protect, embrace gang or gang like behavior and those groups thrive on using illegal firearms against unarmed populations to attack and intimidate.

Honest folks deserve the right to have guns and protect themselves.  Not everyone needs to have a gun, but that decision should be theirs, not decided by some self serving bureaucrat or political hack.

The Progressives love to feel sorry for criminals and announce their disdain for victims.  Americans have a right to defend themselves from criminals whether they be the common type, Progressive Marxist Socialist control freaks or New World Order whackos.

If some of those teachers and students in VA had guns, the number of dead would have been much less than 32!  But guess what, they were prohibited from protecting themselves.

The police and the government can’t protect your a**!  Get a gun!
