Israeli leader will resign if indictedJERUSALEM - Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has said he will resign from office if he is indicted in a bribery and corruption case described by state prosecutors as “serious.”
"Even though the law does not require me to do this, I will resign from my job if the attorney general decides to issue an indictment against me,” Olmert told reporters stationed outside his Jerusalem residence last night. Full Item
