It seems that I offended an author by posting at least one item authored by that person here on HWR without proper permission. The piece was not submitted directly to HWR, but to a sister site that I edit.

A piece by one “Julie Kay Smithson”, who has a site at http://www.propertyrightsresearch.org/ has objected to posting of her piece at HWR as a “Guest” without appropriate permission.

I must sincerely apologize for using her content on HWR without explicit permission.  She had submitted to one of the several other sites that I edit and I found the specific piece to be interesting and worth posting.  It seemed appropriate for HWR, so I posted it.

I have done this many times within the MoveOff sites and this frankly has been the first author to complain.  Actually the result is often multiple postings and thus more exposure on the search engines for the author and content.

She has every right to complain and I have no issue with the fact.  I have removed the offending piece and issued this apology twice, can’t seem to find a reason to further continue with this issue.

That specific piece contested has been removed, if I can locate such other item(s) they will be promptly removed.  (This software package has some issues with locating items authored by a specific individual)
