‘America becoming a ‘stupid’ nation?’

The comments by Bill Maher on CNN that have caused such a stink warrant further review before everyone summarily dismisses them as trivial dribble from a partisan HBO comedian. There is a shred of truth in what he said. He just had the wrong target in his sights.
I agree in part with Maher. At least 51.9 percent agree. There is a huge faction of America that is stupid and to quote Maher, “are getting dumber and dumber by the day.” However, the reasons Maher cites are quite different than the reality. Full Piece
