We are now $2 trillion more in debt than we were a year ago. Billions in taxpayer-earned “job-creating” stimulus funds have been appropriated towards wool research, tattoo removal clinics, fruit fly facilities and sea turtle research but produced zero new jobs (in fact, 7.7 million jobs have been lost since the passage of the stimulus bill).
